Still not a huge fan of node. Overcomplicated IMO for stuff that can be done easily and quickly in other languages such as PHP/javascript etc. definitely has its benefits tho

Complicated... If you say so. Yeah i mean node doesnt use javascript at all :erm:, the speed at which you can get a full fledged app up and running is amazing. If you're making a tiny app that just needs a basic template with some external api resource calls you can whip it up in about an hour or less.

I was referring to 0.x.x version schemes. I am fully aware of nodejs style even/odd numbering. the fact that I didnt actually go to meteor home page to see it was on 0.7 is irrelevant
