When will Amanzimtoti get "Super fast internet" ?

The web site says :

Your area is currently not enabled for the Super-Fast Broadband.

However, it is possible for you to order broadband services up to 2Mbps right now.
Please register your interest for planning purposes as we endeavour to enable your area for even higher broadband speeds as soon as possible..


I’m on a 4Mbps but tuned for 3.4Mbps.

Not a Km up the road I have one of these.





Why cant I even get a proper 10Mbps? let alone a 20..

I would like F.T.T.H. but battling with Afrihost Business 4Mbps and Telkom I don’t think I will ever see it happening.

Get lots of people in your area to register their interest in higher speed net.

And if you're battling with Afrihost, why not move?

If you are indeed connected to that "cabinet" then you should be able to get between 20-30Mbps (very easily).

Have you placed an order for a faster line speed yet? Do so an insist on a reference number. Then they will be forced to do a proper (manual) check on what speed your line is capable of. Warning: this will be a committed step and you cannot back out.
