Where can I find an Xmas Tree?

I'm going green this year. I want to buy a real chopped down tree so I can decorate it with baubles and stuff.
Where do you find these things in Cape Town?

WTF? Saving the environment by chopping down a tree to decorate it for some pagan ritual? Yea.. that's going green... for sure
 
I actually would not even have an idea who you could phone.

If you jhb maybe lifestyle will have.
 
Go into your garden and use a tree. Use do not abuse (DON'T CHOP). If you dont have tree plant one for 2012

Indeed Do you realise how much more the carbon footprint is for the buying of those Chinese plastic trees
Lets look.

1. Drill for oil in Nigeria
2. Ship oil to refinery.
3. Ship oil by belching ship to China
4. Process oil and chemicals in factory in china
5. Make Xmas trees in factory in China
6. Pour off toxic chemicals from Factory into nearest river
7. Burn rest of toxic chemicals in smokestacks
8. Chop down some forests to make cardboard boxes for Plastic trees.
9. Ship Chinese plastic trees to South Africa in belching ship which vents bliges into oceans
10. Trucks delivering Chinese Plastic trees to stores diesel fume the city
11. Consumer burns petrol to fetch trees in stores which put plastic trees in cardboard boxes into Plastic bags which end up as Spring Flowers.

My chopped down tree will be of an alien variety which I can use to fuel my braai after the Festivities have died down

I think it's more green too.
