Where can I get a lighter socket

Mine seems to be dead. I'm referring to the actual socket because I've tried different lighters to no avail.

Alternatively, can someone tell what amp fuse they typically use because I thought that might be the issue as well.

Far more likely to be the fuse than the socket. Open your fuse box, there should be a list of which fuses are for which equipment. Find the one for the lighter socket and swap it.

This is a Quantum. Taking a trip to PE and we need to be able to charge the GPS and phones

Agree, the socket could not be a more simpler thing... It's also pretty easy to short out which is how you probably popped the fuse.

Called my wife now to open up the fuse box and check. The only thing she found which I think might be the lighter is one called "Power Outlet". Could it be this one?

yeah Power Outlet or something marked 12V.

Lighter sockets are not the same functionally as Power Outlets although the size is

if it's not the fuse you can buy the lighter socket from Midas or a local vehicle spares shop.
