Where can I get original opera mini 4.2

I downloaded the vodafone 'enhanced' OM 4.2 back when vodacom offered the free internet on weekends. Anyway my OM has been acting up and I cant find the non-'enhanced' original opera mini. Does anyone here know where it has been hidden?

I had the same problem, The Source. The "enhanced" one really sucks and if you want to download Opera Mini via your phone it forces that version on you. I recall downloading the original a while ago and then installing it on my phone but I've deleted it since. I've just learnt to live with it as I rarely use my phone these days.

From your desktop browser click here and choose the version you want. I have it on my phone, it's not a Vodafone version. But I still prefer v3.1. Seems to use less data and loads pages faster...

If you ever get directed to the crappy Vodacom Opermini site, there's an option at the bottom for "alternate versions", which allows you to pick from the regular 4.2, or the newer 5.1 versions.
