Seriously, it is mostly a boring monologue with a really doff storyline...

Who else thinks that MonoChoice has scraped the bottom of the reject bin with this series?

We haven't had a new channel for yonks now...they're relying on repeats and crap to keep us happy.
I don't even want a new channel from MonoChoice, I just want a competitor to actually launch and start competing - even if it is equally as bad as MonoChoice - things can only get better from there.

Still worthwhile telling MonoChoice that some of what it broadcasts, is truly crap.

I gave the pilot about 10 minutes and then gave up. What utter rubbish!!!

Gemini Devision was at first a series of "webisodes". They basically just played those web videos back to back, which, I guess, doesn't work...

SA is a writeoff when it comes to anything tech related...we get shafted with broadband, hardware, software, pay TV...everything. It took years to get the competition licenced and it'll take another few decades to get them up and running.

On the upside, Monochoice aims for 3 HD channels by early 2010 so at least that's something.

The HD channels are for the World Cup AFAIK. There's also some doubt as to whether the HD is bona fide or not.

I cannot disagree.

There is a special place that MonoChoice can stash those HD channels, bcos nothing will convince me that MonoChoice's HDPVR and their crappy s/w, is worth spending ZAR3000 on.

I watched a minute or two last night and it's terrible!
I thought Roasario Dawson could make any show somewhat bearable but the only way I'd watch this again is if she does an entire episode in her birthday suit
