last week i was at cash crusaders Village square in randfontein and this guy entered the buy shop and sold 51 brand new PS2 games original with the FPB sticker. and they gave him 40 bucks each. does anyone know where he could have got them.

Well FPB stickers can be faked fairly easierly.. I had to do it when i sold my xbox games, just took them off old dvd covers with a hair dryer to make them "melt" off.. As fo 51games must be been stolen or something like that...

Not sure how that branch operates, but one has to produce a copy of your ID and proof of resident to sell stuff at Cash Crusaders. They also ask for proof of purchase if it's quite new stuff.

I use to be a buyer at Cash Converters and did many legit deals like this. With the current economy its no surprise either with all the businesses going under. But must say its very easy to profile the dodgy seller (you did not give any details).

One incident was two guys trying to sell 60 Afrikaans CDs, would not have been a problem if they where not Macassar gangsters - no way in hell they listen to Bles Bridges.

Maybe an unfortunate guy who had to close down his own shop... We won't really know..

If it was older stuff that explains him only getting R40 for them..

Maybe he bought the off www.take2.co.za on special and just resold them who knows a quick buck is a quick buck. If they where stolen he's gotta live whit himself...

Sounds like Cash Crusader/Converter prices they wanted to purchase my PSP for R100 and the games for R20 and possibly resell it for close to R2000 as the prices were then sigh... Told them to fly

3 - 4 years ago my mate took his PS2 with 20+ games to Cash Converters, they gave him like R800.00. I just laughed...

I had 70+ originals which I handed over to my nephew when I got my 360.
Why must we presume the games were stolen?
