Where do you take your Ps3 to be repaired.

Well there are quite a few options you can take it to the closest Reggies or Btgames and they send it away to be repaired and you get a three month warranty when you receive your Ps3 back.Does anybody know of other places to go?

Ja I'm based in the Garden route area so my options are limited,Its my blu ray laser that's bombed out and bt games charges 1500 to repair but how do I know I'm getting a new drive and not a refurb one?

I have a feeling OP just wanted people to suggest places. I don't think he actually needs his PS3 repaired, assuming he has one.

AFAIK, you don't get a refurbished laser. The laser would be new.

Sorry I can't help with your area. R1500 does seem a bit much for a Blu-Ray laser.

Ja 1500 is heavy man I have to make a tough decision to repair or start saving for ps4 and I just bought GT6 a week before it blows, I'm just gutted man.

Pretty sure Zaps also does repairs. That price for a repair is ridiculous. Could get another Ps3 for cheaper. Had a friend who got his laser and labour for like 800. Was years ago though
