Mmkay, there are 32 hours of November left... For me, iTunes 11 was almost as important an announcement as the iPhone 5 when Tim said we'd be having it at the WWDC September. So they didn't make it in October and now November is done (almost). The Wall Street Journal is saying it might be out today but who really knows. All I know is I want my iTunes 11 and I want it now!

I was beginning to get annoyed about this but then it occurred to me - I rarely use iTunes these days except as the back end for syncing my iPad.

Hopefully the windows version will be a massive improvement.

What are you using for media the, Plex?

It's still morning in the US - give it a few more hours. It'll probably go out around 8 tonight if it does.

XBMC for the home theatre - streaming video via Air Video. iTunes is always running in the background though.

Good point I was also waiting patiently as it seems quite awesome, but then I forgot all about it.

Hahaha - luckily I have an uncapped line, so didn't even look at how big it was. Took a while to download though!

My update came last night so I ran it and then it asked that my pc needed to be rebooted which I did and then something happened. When I came back online and tried to get into iTunes via the icon it told me the program was corrupted and did not load properly and I would have to redo the download. I tried again and it would not work so I tried iTunes 10.7 or whatever I was on and the program told me a newer version is loaded so it kicked me out. I then decided to delete iTunes off my pc to start afresh but then I saw the "Apple Software Update" program so checked it out and did something there and iTunes worked perfectly.

The new update looks very nice but must still go scratch around a bit.
