Hey Guys,

Seemes like iBurst rocks even more than they know. This is because I've done about 3.26GB (up and down stream), today. It's good they mess-up, again. (shhhhh, don't tell)

Well, seems like it is going to be like this for the weekend, or until their server notices that I have done more than what they are supposed to allow.

Enjoy your weekend and don't download TOO MUCH. :D

maybe the cap is 64kb/sec and not 64k? what do you think...

hope so...anybody interested in signing a petition to get uncapped local? Im gonna set one up next week and hopefully go have a meeting with one of them in the next two weeks

Sounds like an idea you should definitely post in [post=181824]this thread...[/post];)

how about we wait till they cap local first, anyways the cap doesn't work like as you hit 3gb you are capped, you can download 8 or more Gb in one session then once they make thier checks and you disconnect then you are capped

I see the helpdesk is back up - my usage is over 3GB - when are they gonna cap?

Edit : Slimothy, so usage is not dynamically monitored?

I dont think so, well it wasn't on friday before they reset the counters, even if they do make it dynamic its wont be dynamic to the second, it will always have a delay.

Kinda funny that your usage says you've used more than 3GB, I just checked mine and it says I've downloaded 0MB, although I haven't disconnected since they disconnected me on friday at midnight and of course I haven't eased up downloading one little bit.

Try reconnect and see if you get capped, although I doubt it.

I think the cap is here....just got disconnected by wbs - can't surf on iburst so posting this on my 56k backup.

Please can they rectify purchase more bandwidth to purchase more usage - Like rodent said that can be confusing.

nope, the dns server went down, it couldn't lookup IPs for URls, you should be able to post now, although it could be the cap, maybe you just happened to disconnect when it went down

the system seems to definatly check an account thats been flagged as capped on connected, I disconnected out of internest, as I connected my bandwith count was finally showing a few Gbs chewed up
