Anyone else notice that our beloved mascot is M.I.A. Was not at opening nor any matches so far. Must be on strike.

I have to admit I also questioned why he was absent from the opening. I saw a picture on the FIFA website of him walking behind the stadium at the opening and that was about it.

Perhaps it is FIFAs way. The mascot is involved in pre tournament publicity and then takes a month off during the event.
