Hi All,

I am looking to a buy a gaming computer that can play the latest games such as crysis 2, mass effect 3 with ease. Something that has value for money and will be able to play better games in the future.

Other than evetech, are there any other places more reasonable in SA?

Thanks

If you want more reasonable than Evetech, build it yourself.

Take a look at Rebeltech. They can build the pc for you too, should you so want. A friend of mine slashed about R4k off a R17k machine last month.

Pretty much what these lads are saying. Joker on MyG builds high end gaming rigs. If his prices are too much for you, he might even be able to guide you in the right direction.

Thing with Gaming PC's is that we don't buy them as set units from shops. The vast majority of us buy the components separately and build our own. That way you get exactly what you want and/or can afford.

www.mygaming.co.za also has a number of articles and reviews on different CPU's/Gfx cards/ Motherboards/ you name it.

Evetech is pretty well priced. They're in Centurion I believe. But like the others said, building it yourself is the cheapest. Really easy too these days, everything is colour coded or fits only in one place etc.

If you're around here, I can recommend Titan-Ice In Pretoria for components (they can also assemble), their prices are some of the best, if not the best, and they can also get pretty much anything you want.

Thanks for al the info! I know my way around a pc somewhat, but i want to make sure its built properly! Will definitly try out some of the suggestions!!
