Where to buy almond paste

I'm looking for almond paste (not marzipan). I've tried a few baking craft shops but all they had was marzipan - and it's not even proper marzipan its the godawful almond-flavoured sugar dough. Somewhere in JHB or online. But not amazon, they have it but $$$$$$$$$

What is it that you are going to make? would almond nut butter do the job?

Almond paste is made from ground almonds or almond meal and sugar in equal quantities, with small amounts of cooking oil, beaten eggs, heavy cream or corn syrup added as a binder. It is similar to marzipan.
