Where to get a wireless AC access point?

This is what you need buddy Link

Waiting for my house to be complete, will be buying 2 of these bad boys

Please stay far far away from TP-Link products (I've had so many fail)

Ooh, damn that's nice. Also pricey though but in this case I see the reason.

On a side note I've got a few TP-Link things and they've been flawless.

Op what did you eventually get?
I'm also looking to get a cheapie AC router, anyone have anything else to recommend?

I'm using 3 TP-Link router products as I type this, all working flawlessly for many years.

Browsing around now looking for a wifi ac access point but coming up empty.

I'm not looking for a DSL router with wifi, I want a plain wireless AP without any modem or fancy shmancy routing stuff.

What are my options?

Takealot stocks these.

ADSL version of above.

Access Point/Bridge. Only 5Ghz

Another, cheaper broadband router, no modem for adsl. dual band

Ubiquiti Unifi new range will have AC standard on their entry level AP's. I'd wait for that.

Care OP. have old telkom Wifi router and it can not be used as AP. you need a bridge option on the router. The more fancy ones have it.

Our EA-AC87 is a duo purpose AP/ Media Bridge. It's only 5Ghz though. Alternatively, check out our RP-AC52. This is a wall-plug type AP/ Range Extender/ Media Bridge.
