Where to get another GTX280

Hi there MYBB peeps

I'm looking for another GTX280 do you guys perhaps know where I'll be able to get another one. I don't like to buy second hand one from someone cause I'm scared the card is going to be faulty. I want to go with the Nvidia 3 monitor setup route and need another card, also don't want to fork out money to go for 2x new nvidia cards and also don't want to go with ATI unless I can go with cheaper option.
 
Nowhere. Production stopped ages ago. You'll be very lucky to find one in stock. Get ATI, 3 monitor setups are a pleasure and you are not forced to use 2 cards to do it

edit: Just checked amazon and newegg, even they have none. So you gotta buy second hand or get some new cards

Get a 5850 use Eyefinity and use the 280 for phsyX.

Problem solved.

You can find 2nd hand cards on Prophecy if you wait around, that might still have substantial warranty left.

My cpu and vga are 2nd hand.
 
ok but a 5850 will set me back at least R2699 and then I need the Active display adapter that cost around R400 so a bit expensive and performance wise it's not that good. so I think this is a no go
 
2 GTX 280's also consume like an ass-load of power, so I also say try sell it and get an ATi Eyefinity card.
 
ok think I will try the ati route as my 650w psu will not be enough
 
I can also get the MSI ATI 5870 lightning for about R4k
