Where to get Dell laptop replacement lcd screen?

I have a Dell inspirion 1300 laptop brought from the UK, it's a year old and the warranty has expired. Where and how do I get a replacement one or can it be repaired and any ideas on the cost?

Cost = ouch! Should've extended the warranty to 3 or 4 years.

Usually you just contact Dell SA and they should give you a price for the new LCD and order it for you.

Mine was under a 2year warrenty when the keyboard fckd up and i needed a new one. Just called Dell and they bought me a new one in hardly any time at all... although without a warrenty u are gonna have big bill$ to pay for a new LCD =s

Not the first time heard Dell's screen broken.
Rather buy a new laptop

The laptop cost me a year ago R 5000 in London, the quote they gave me today is R 4000 HAHAHAHAHA.

I called Dell in UK and they quoted me R 1800 for the screen... duhh.

I dont want a new laptop crazy at it seems, took forever to tweak this one to do exactly what I want but I get what you are saying, a new laptop would cost R 6500 so i should get one..............but i dont want to grrr.
