Where to get melatonin ?

You will need to ask your doctor for a prescription. Or you can try and import it yourself I guess. Many international online stores sell it.

Quite sure I've still seen it at a few random (smaller) Chemists on the shelf.
That was a few months ago though.

I got a prescription for it, but it's like R250 for a month's worth at Dischem. I used to use Solal Melatonin, which disappeared once the Schedule change came into effect.

I still have some left, but I will need some one day, so I thought I'd get some whilst my wife needed to see a doctor anyway.

The Solal one worked perfectly - I use a quarter of a pill and it's enough. Using a full pill usually makes me drowsy the following day at work.

Yes, you can try the Pharmacy, but don't tell them it is for sleeping pills, you MUST tell them it is for international travel and jet lag.
For some weird reason they are not allowed to give it as a sleeping pill, but only for Jet Lag.

I got some from Dischem for jet lag :D They were only able to give me a few. The label on bottle says it's S2. Later my usual Pharmacist said he managed to get some for me. It's in the orginal box and it states S4. So I presume for jet lag it's S2 otherwise it's S4 :D

Melatonin changed to S4? :wtf: Used to buy it off the shelf a while back before finding out it did jack **** for me.

OK, I think I might have half a bottle in my drawer if you didn't come right.
