Where to pick up old computers

Does anyone know where you can pickup old unwanted pc's, especially where businesses make room for new ones and want the old ones out?

Not totally free but I normally purchase from Xperien for my clients that cannot afford a new machine. Great value.
In terms of free I would contact the distributors like Targus, Rectron etc. Most of them have recycle skips on site for you to dump old machines.
