Where to register a domain?

luxe - look at joomla maybe. Best is still to design your own site from scratch.

I use Hetzner for hosting. Fast, reliable and haven't had any issues yet.

Hi Luxe,
I understand your frustration with WordPress. Remember it started out as a blogging system, and that is still its primary function. However, by making use of "pages" rather than "posts" you can set in fact up a fully functional regular website.
I've designed a WordPress theme to do exactly that - go on over to http://alphawebs.co.za/alphaseven and have a look for yourself. And if you know how to set it up you can download and use the theme free of charge, and customize it to your heart's content.

I am hosting with Gridhost (on their wordpress package), sort of got the hang of the themes now, stuck for a logo
