Are they any shops which use genuine Apple parts?

You will have to go to Core / iStore to have genuine parts fitted. Put they are going to charge you much more than places like iFix

iStore doesn't do component level repairs.

No, but you book your phone in at the store, they send it away, and when it comes back you fetch it from the istore again

No, what happens is that they give you a refurbished replacement phone. At a fee which is equivalent to buying a sealed new phone from the classifieds. :D

There would be hell to play if they do that. There is a battery replacement notice out on my phone, I want my phone back not some other phone...

Agreed, it would be horrible to get back what's essentially a brand new phone...

Platinum parts or whatever they are called does use 100% genuine Apple screens. iPhone 6 is R2000, and your 6s is roughly R3500. lol

Nope, they don't. In fact, there is no shop in SA which uses Apple parts, and as such any repair on a phone under warranty will void the warranty.

This, i have a business for apple repairs called Timeplex Systems and been fixing apple devices for years now.The only way you get a genuine apple screen is if you getting it from another iphone. All the other new ones that people sell as Original are not genuine apple parts but you get different grades of the quality of screens, some are OEM quality and some are just cheap quality.I know most guys would say they only use original parts but i know exactly where there get their screens from as we buy from the same supplier.

There are no authorized parties in South Africa who can repair iOS devices.
The only authorized repair program is the iPhone 6S Unexpected Shutdown repair which Core Group has been authorized to carry out with OEM components.

WeFix!

Got super professional fast service on two phones. Would recommended.

Had my iphone 6 repaired today - R1399. Repair comes with a one year warranty.
