Where to shop for computer desk chassis

So i want to maybe buy those sexy desk chassis,But seems i only find wootware and rebeltech have some?

That's one idea as well but need more to go on,like sizes ,inside for the motherboard size.

butt ugly and expensive. Would be much cheaper to build a pukka desk out of wood that will be sturdy and look amazing. Plenty of examples out on the net.

me and mu buddy got such a simple idea that will look amazing.

And will give it that pallet look everyone wants lately

Should be able to find a couple of useful ideas and techniques there.

I built something like a computer desk chassis for my HTPC but instead of a desk just a TV stand. As far as the sizes for motherboard etc goes, I just made sure it was big enough for everything and actually over-sized the "chassis compartment" as it looked aesthetically better on the overall look so dont worry about it too much as long as it is big enough.

To get to the pc you slide the glass ,vents are underneath on the sides/below where drawers would be.

Wouldn't the wood retain too much heat? You would have to really get your airflow spot on if you wanted this to work.

If you are going to go the glass route, make sure you use tempered glass or laminated glass. Regular sheet glass is going to land up given some nasty cuts if it breaks.

Otherwise, try perspex or acrylic.

Perspex/acrylic scratches easily, I'd go glass if the idea is to put stuff on it like keyboard, mouse etc

Like i said,vents are being placed for fans,two 120mm per side
