Republic of Cape Town, or Pretoria.
I'll only live in Durban or Johannesburg if I no longer value life.

That being said, when is the next Black Friday specials in Durban? Anyone got a date?

I'm so sorry that you have the wrong opinion.

On a serious note: I'm Afrikaans and PTA is still pretty Afrikaans, so feels a lot more home and traffic a lot more managable.

I'd prefer to work in a way where it's no longer relevant where I am.

After COVID showed everyone that it didn't matter where we were it shouldn't matter. For the past two weeks I've been contributing to projects in Gauteng and Mpumalanga from Japan.

For some transgression in a past life, I found myself contributing to a project with a team located between Canada and Kazakhstan. Instead of one or two project meetings a year, we discussed progress fortnightly and got a hell of a lot more done.

I would love to live and work in shangri-la. But that does not exist. So s a is the best choice
