I think it was Dischem that did a study on this, and found that in some cases the amount of protein present was much less than advertised.

What do you need it for? Just eat more good protein sources.

Also, I have posted this before. Whey is extremely insulinogenic. More so than white bread. This means that it will drive your hunger up and make it even harder to control if you are trying to cut.
