Which 3D 40 inch ?

Plasmas start at 42" and those will be HDR.

You can get a 43" Samsung plasma HDR 3D for about R5500 (PS43E490) or even less since I believe there's a newer model.

40" LED FullHD 3D are around R6000-R7000.

Not going to get into what's better though.

Wow ok thanks so much, look I personally have the LED 3d LG and am happy but I think the plasma for them might be better.
So perhaps a 50 inch?
Any recommendations?
 
Only plasma I know in that range is the 51" Samsung PS51E550. Was going for as low as R8000 recently. Usually around R9k. Also last years model.

Just bear in mind the Samsungs are active 3D

Ahhh yes, will not go that route, active is terrible and the glasses are very expensive.
So perhaps an LG plasma 3D 50 inch?
 
The active 3d on Samsung is bloody amazing.


Don't get darkness or the headaches.....
 
I'd go the second link (hifi corp). First one doesn't seem to be 3d. 6.5k is a good price for 3d.
