Which 5G CPE is the best?

Pretty simple question.

1. Huawei CPE Pro and Outdoor Unit (Discontinued)
2. Huawei CPE Pro 2
3 Huawei N5368X Outdoor
4. ZTE MC801A
5. Oppo CPE T1a

Seems there is so many CPE's now offered on Rain. Appart from the features like WIFI6 ect do they offer any advantage on the network in terms of speed?
 
Still waiting for my rain SIM and router to be delivered but it looks like they'll be sending an Oppo CPE T1a unit with them, if the pics are anything to go by

Just received my Oppo CPE T1a and it seems to be performing pretty well. I won't use the WiFi on it as I have it in failover/load balance mode on my Edgerouter as a supplementary connection to my FTTH which is down more than it is up, but so far so good. LB is working nicely with a 30/30 FTTH and 25/25 5G:

Try see with your load balancing if you can send streaming traffic (youtube etc) via your FTTH, RAIN shapes it on the non premium packages

Good idea, let me see if I can do that. Easiest would be via destination IP filtering, I'd imagine?

EDIT: Might be tricky to send the traffic via FTTH with a route as if FTTH is off, then it would stop working altogether. Although there are ways of running scripts when routes go down or come back up, I guess I could write a simple script to push a routing table change to send streaming traffic via FTTH when it is up, and another to send the traffic via 5g when FTTH is down

What is the max speed you get?

Very impressive considering I just shoved it into the closet in the middle of the house and didn't really bother with positioning etc.
 
So I'd thought I'd test again with the ZTE MC801A from Rain with the same 25mbps uncapped deal. I get around -90dBm no matter where in the house I am. It's currently in the same spot as the Oppo that I had prior.

For some reason speeds to their own servers are horrible, and even to the MyBB speedtest server isn't yielding great results:

I've tested the ZTE thingy. It seems to be okay if you can get it right up against a window, with near LOS. I can get 150mbps+ in an apartment on the 6th floor near Cape Town. Maybe I should expect better, but I wont scoff at it.

The same CPE in JHB however, is another story. Unless its almost on the roof with an extension cord, it wont do any traffic to a tower 500 meters away. I'd reach for the 5G CPE right away to just install it in the correct place and get the best experience I can, but seems like they are tough to find.
