Which Android phone compares best with iphone??

I think the question your want to ask is, is the iphone comparable to any android phone.

Online most guys compare the galaxy s to the iphone.

Which Android phone compares best with an iPhone?

My first thought was that you should have posted this question in the Android forum but then I thought about it a bit and realised how smart it was posting it in the iPhone and iPad thread... ALL the Android boys are here anyway looking for any opportunity to bitch anything Apple.

PS. The Galaxy S is the iPhone's closest competitor according to most posts... That is if you don't mind running Android 2.1 while other phones run Android 2.2...
PPS. iPhone FTW

The iphone doesn't compare to any android phone. Maybe if you disabled half the stuff on an android phone you could try recreate the iphone experience.

if you can't afford an iPhone, get a blackberry - Android is terrible - at least the Sony X10 I have.

spec wise i'd say Galaxy S, but the whole user experience is totally different on both phones. I've had many android phones in the past including desire and recently galaxy s (upgraded to android 2.2) but still prefer iOS.

Most of them
HTC Desire comes to mind

your fail for taking the first Sony Ericson to use android.....

Is a Jailbroken iphone less reliable than an Android device (say HTC Desire or Galaxy S)?

Reliable?? :wtf: As in you can't rely on it to be there when u need it? Like its suddenly not there when you need to make a call?

What the hell are you talking about? Are you saying that Android devices normally hang around in pubs when you need them and jailbreaking an iphone turns it into a drunk?

Dude iPhones crash sometimes even without any jailbreaking... most smartphones do get over yourself..

Not at all - it depends on what rubbish you load onto the iphone after jailbreaking it. thats why the app store apps go thru a approval process to prevent the app from compromising the iphones operation - 3rd party apps loaded after jailbreaking can crash your iphone - depends on how the app interacts with the os.
