Trying to extricate myself away from white bread. Decided to become carbs and sugar conscience but confused by these Albany types. Which ones are just marketing and which ones are really wholesome promoting low 'everything'?

1. Low G.I. White Bread
2. Best of Both White Bread
3. Brown Bread
4. Wholegrain Brown Bread
5. Low G.I. Brown Seeded Bread
6. Wholewheat Brown Bread

Just stop eating bread, all these alabany etc types are schite

There's nothing particularly wholesome about any of them. Try going three weeks without any bread and see how you do...you might just find it's not that difficult once you get past the first week. If not, then try buy your own flour and bake your own breads as necessary. It really is a super simple thing to make and you decide what goes in there.

If you have to eat bread, use the wholewheat or wholegrain brown bread.
Best to use it sparingly. Try to limit yourself to two major carbs a day (including potatoes, chips, and other starches)
... and do as I say, not as I do.

I long ago opted for the simple and hassle-free lifestyle. Too late to turn back. It is either already-made bread or a substitute but all ideas of claimed equivalence are really just pretenders to the throne. Nothing beats bread.

Fair enough. I just don't think those breads and 'wholesome' belong together in the same sentence. You're really just attempting a negligible amount of harm mitigation whatever you choose. But yeah - if your mind is made up stick to Garyvdh's suggestion. I'd still try go without it for a few weeks and then try a few slices and see how it makes you feel :).

Anything Albany is ****! I don't like big slices of bread in general but their's are just ****!

Blue Ribbon Fuel, if you cutting back on the carbs and sugar.

I buy the Woolworths thick slice brown for toast/toasted sandwiches. Prefer a fresh ciabatta with soup or stews.

"Those breads are not wholesome"

See, I did it all in one sentence
