Which broadband package to go for?

Hey guys,

My bro is looking to get a broadband package. I reccomended he should get a Cell C package as it seems the cheapest for what you get. The line rental for a 4meg connection is a bit much for what he needs it for (just basic surfing and what not, maybe the odd d/l). He doesn't want a too slow connection.

Would just like someone elses opinion bout this please, no need to go into too much details.

how slow is too slow?
thers 512k from telkom for 300 ish
and 384k for R152 tho that might be TOO slow

Well 512 is not too bad I guess but like I said, it's not for too heavy bandwith consumption. I just think that one could get a faster connection for same/cheaper price as in the case of Cell C. However, I'm not sure if their network is live yet in Jozi. I read somewhere on this forum bout next month? Not that it matters I mean Nov is just round the corner.
