Which business type (consulting)

Hi Guys

Looking for info on starting a consulting business in terms of of pros and cons. Typical setup would be a 1 or 2 man show coming in to consult on projects (IT / Change management / project management). Which business type is best for this in terms of:

• Regulatory compliance (bbbee, dept of labour etc)
• Banking and finances
• Claiming / charging for expenses to the business
• Taxation

Would it be better to just individually contract or form a PTY / Sole Prop? Any advice would be most appreciated

Pty. Unlikely to qualify for SBC tax rates doing consulting, but the the legal protection it offers is worth it alone.
