Which countries suffer the most from terrorism?

32,658 people were killed by terrorism in 2014, compared to 18,111 in 2013 - an increase of 45 per cent in just one year.

I make that an increase of just over 80%?

...and I didn't put the space in between the "per" and "cent". Pretty impressive that they managed to get hold of the terrorists' budget and work out how many lives they're taking now per cent spent.

In other news, The Telegraph continues to be ****.

"per cent" is common in British English and is considered the correct way to express the "percent" or "%". It's a matter of style and is not incorrect.

And I have no idea where the 45% increase came from - must be a calculation error somewhere.

I'm not going to do any maths, but I assume what they did was decide that 18,111 is 55% of 32,658 , so the remainder would be 45%.

How are we as ''hot'' as the US, France and the UK, countries that have endured actual terrorist attacks? Are they looking at paper and money trails as well? I know our passports were being used by ''persons of interest'' in Pakistan.

Well there is the issue of MK (officially a terrorist organisation according to the old regime) running the SANDF and there's that terrorist-in-chief that is certainly terrorizing all our citizens ...
