Hi ppl

Just want your opinion about helping me choosing a course at Dynamix Learning Solutions.

I can do a course there via my work. My current job currently entails desktop support/technician/telephonic support w.r.t. hardware, software, basic networking and troubleshooting, but no server or infrastructure support.

Which of these would be the most benefit for me currently and also in the future and why would you choose it. I also take into consideration what skills is needed in the current market and salary wise.

how the heck did you get your job if you don't even have A+? I got that when I was like 16 :erm:

Yes i have an A+, but not through Comptia though.

I did mine through CTI - Computer Training Institute in 2001.

well then re-read some of your material, perhaps "acquire" some trancenders online (i've heard they are awesome to prep you) and take the A+ tests yourself. (even if it's paid with your own money)

then take ANOTHER course paid by your work

all i'm saying is if you have to CHOOSE, don't take A+, as you have already studdied it - no point in doing it again

and get the CompTIA cert anyway - could only benifit you to have the qualifications on paper, I think it's around R1200 per test. (they are adaptive tests so it will adjust to your knowledge level, so study!)
