Ok so CW was good, but they sinking,

CISP does not do ADSL/VDSL... otherwise they would have been a easy choice,

So who's the better option now for a 20Mbps VDSL line.

I've hopped from ISP to ISP for years. Sign up with an ISP while everyone signs their praises and a year down the line everything goes to ****. Sign up with the next one, rinse, repeat.

Just stick with Telkom.

I"ve also been long enough in the game... Just been off ADSL/VDSL recently, we moved and new place only have DSL so don't know who the hot players are at the moment...

Please, comments pro and con any ISP ?

bumping this action as im in the same boat. looking at cybersmart maybe. I need a setup like i had with Crystalweb. a "premium home uncapped" package in the R700 - R800 range. most other places have some form of shaping, throttling ect, that im not a fan of.

I need full downloading capability at all times, good streaming and gaming XD

Definitely avoid Cybersmart, their service has gone down the drain. I have been struggling for 2 and half months with an intermittent ADSL service and all their support staff do is give empty promises of someone that will phone you back or a service manger will follow up but they never do.

I've been really happy with my Afrihost Business DSL, currently on a 10Mbps line waiting (impatiently) for fibre.

Similar to Luke7777, I advised for many years.
a. DSL connection with infrastructure owner no matter how much more hassle this is. In the long run this is best.
b. Data, use ISP till they bad, leave. It is simple and easy to adapt as the landscape change.

Vox seems good value at this time.

Telkom's callout services are ****. We had to wait 2 weeks for them to connect our landline and ADSL line to the exchange.

As already advised, get the line and ADSL service from the infrastructure owner which is Telkom/Openserve and then decide on your ISP.
Ignore all the so called bad service Telkom haters.
