Which ergonomic chair to get?

Good afternoon. Not really sure where to ask, but would the following chair be worth looking at?

It has a 10 year warranty. I've been looking at getting a new chair but not really too sure what to look at. The Merryfair chairs look nice but I'm a bit scared of the 3 year warranty only. The NetOne High back looks nice but I don't like the leather seat and apparently the seam on the seat.
Any recommendations? Budget is around 7k.
 
My Makro chair broke over the weekend after around 3 years of use if I remember correctly.

I've been eying the Ergotherapy chairs for quite a while now, I've even been to their shop a couple years ago to try them out and have a chat.

I don't like mesh like on the NetOne I prefer the GetOne, I need a chair with a 130 kg weight capacity though. I spoke to them and they can give me the GetOne but upgrade it with the meganism like on the NetOne which will give it a 130 kg weight capacity.

This will result in a GetOne similar in price basically to the NetOne and it will also have the 5 locking tilt positions like on the NetOne rather than the fully adjustible tilt like on the standard GetOne.

Any users of these chairs think this is a bad idea or should I rather just go for a NetOne? I'm not very fond of the mesh, I get the idea that it won't be that long lasting and durable. As far as I know the GetOne also has a thicker seat than the NetOne which might offer more / better support for my 125 kg frame.

Really depends on you. No one can make that decision for you. All mesh like the Cecil Nurse Enjoy is just flippen amazing.

@bigboy529, unless they improved the padding on the seat and depending how tall you are, I don't think the NetOne will be comfortable for 130 kgs's. But again, you will need to check and test.

I’m 184 cm 125 kg, they also recommend I go GetOne since it offers more seat support.
 
Just a update.
I received my GetOne chair with the NetOne meganism to up its rating to 130 kg earlier this week.

So far I'm super impressed, the lumbar support is just next level and I easily go for a day without any back pain where before, I got back pain after only a hour or 3 in the Makro chairs. Before I couldn't wait to go lie down on my bed a bit to ease my back pain, now I go lie down on my bed and think to myself, mmm, I think it was nicer in the chair.

Sometimes I like to use the back rest unlocked so that it follows me when I move backwards and forwards, and at other times I lock it tilted just slightly back in its first position. Time will tell whether I'll settle on one of the 2 or keep changing it threw out the day.
I find the seat a bit hard and I can feel it on the bum after a while, but I think I must just get used to it, I am used to very crappy seats so this is something totally new. I remember it was the same a few years back when I got my new super hard mattress, but after I got used to it I still love it to this day.

Just a note for buyers, I'm 1.84m and I use the chair basically on its lowest setting, even if leaning back quite a bit my feat stays firmly on the ground. I feel that it's just right, I think if I was just a little shorter I would have had to use a foot rest to lift my feat as recommended by Ergotherapy. I prefer it like this though and think they are on the right track, way too many people use their chairs on too low a setting and in the past I was sometimes guilty of that myself, those Makro chairs can go super low which is actually bad for you.

Just some feedback, almost a year later and I'm still extremely happy with my GetOne chair.
It's still in excellent condition, no wear in the fabric, no play in the meganism, so I'm sure it will last for years to come.

It's very comfortable, I use it with the back rest unlocked so it follows me around and gives me lumbar support no matter my position.

Back pain is a thing of the past and I can easily spend a entire day in my chair now.

While i'm no Goliath, I'm 1.81m and 115kg (whish I could say it was all solid muscle) and spend at least 8 hours a day in the chair. Two years down the line and it is still faultless.

Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a great office chair.
 
I feel like I need one of these. The cheap makro office chair I use now makes my tailbone hurt after a few hours of sitting on it. So much so that since the last few months I cant survive a 2 hour flight without having to sit on my hip the rest of the flight after an hour of sitting upright.
 
I don't know if there are any other threads for this, but anyone have good recommendations for <5k chairs?
