Which fibre provider would you choose?

If you had the option (luxury) to choose your fibre provider, who would you choose (AND WHY) between:

1. Openserve (Telkom)
2. Vumatel
3. Vodacom
4. MTN
5. Cybersmart

I am referring only to the pipe provider, not to ISPs, to understand what differentiates them, if anything? And if the choice was between Vumatel and Telkom only (both operate on open access model)?

While Telkom comes in for a lot of stick, I think their engineers and networking guys are still solid. Not sure how good Vuma is, especially when they scale up?
 
Vumatel.

425+GB capped on Crystal Web with 100Mbps line rental from Telkom is going to cost me R1.8k per month. Vumatel has a 600GB 100Mbps account for R1449pm.
 
Telkom:little expensive, also doesnt plan to well.
Vumatel:recommend-cheap, fast, wide variety, and lets nog forget they offer gigabit!
Vodacom-not so sure, but i dont think their open access
MTN-Worst of them all!! Way too expensive and offer alnost no data!
Cybersmart-other recommendation. Excellent company for fibre optics. Cheap prices and all uncapped!
 
I am concerned more with just the fibre provision and management of the infrastructure. Is there much to differentiate between the providers? I feel data pricing and data packages will change all the time, and the market will eventually settle down. I am therefore concerned about who will provide and manage the pipe, because that will be fixed for year to come.

* Night Surfer [no limit 12am - 7am].
* Use an ADSL account on fibre.
* Others can add more to this :p.

I have no disrespect for the other players, they are already doing a fantastic job and wish them well :).

Does this work for any ADSL account? So for example would the VOX fatpipe (ADSL) account work on Telkom fibre?

Honestly not sure however if an iSP is peering with them in agreement then it will work.

Yes, Telkom Fibre works through IPC so any adsl account will work.

Vumatel. By far the best choice
