People who comes up with ^ that, normally cant afford them.
Soo broke after forking out tons of $$$ for a brand new 4090 that they cant afford consoles or any games :p

So they fire up MS paint and make meme's instead.

Worrying about what stuff costs? Is that some sort of peasant concern?

Switch.

/end
Steam Deck, I can also play pretty much all Switch games. :p
(Currently playing through Breath of the Wild, and I get to back up my save games...)

Also in Europe, so I stream Xbox Cloud Gaming, currently playing through A Plague Tale, and Forza Horizon 5, might still try out Bannerlord, but will probs want mouse and keyboard for it.
Playing lots of games like Hades locally/on device are also great, also play Plate Up!, Valheim, Terraria, V Rising, and God of War all generally run great, though prefer streaming from PC if home for most of those (and hook up mouse and keyboard if on-hand, BT support and USB C hub can just plug in, Portal 2 like 95% has been fine with the controller on it, especially trackpad fine control, but the one part I had to go mouse + keyboard to get past since 180 flip in air aiming a little up, can't get that right with controller).

So unfair. You forget that unless you spend 75% of your gaming time running benchmarks, You are not a true gamer.

For someone who's had a lot of consoles, none gave me as much of an impact as the NES and PS1.
But I love them all. They all offer some kind of magic that appeal to a wider audience.

The one which comes with GamesPass, in my case that's been the XBX. My PS5 is still boxed up waiting for a worthy title to come along.

Which gaming console rules them all?
A trick question? It depends on the product cycle. Over a period of say 5 years it is highly probable that all products will be owned; changing them out on a 6-12 month basis using the latest product at all times. Serious gamers can easily afford to own the latest version of all products (they are not that expensive). Part time gamers should just use a multi functional PC.

I cannot decide if you have extremely high or low standards :p
Low definitely. High standards would mean that they owned all of the consoles plus a gamer PC. They would be running the games they wanted on the most appropriate hardware at the time that they want to play the game.

I agree and would add, serious gamers too. With load shedding I installed DARKEST DUNGEON on my laptop.
Specs aside, you play and love that...you are a hardcore gamer. It is really something.

Could we please have a more narrow response. Other & Something Else maybe? /s

I mean...Xbox and Playstation and Switch would have a better response. That's before opening the "Other" section up to different consoles from bygone eras.

No just NO!!!

Get PS+ Extra and go play some Racthet & Clank, Spiderman and Horizon zero dawn (Forbidden West coming 21 Feb) God of War and on and on.

Also if you don't claim your PS+ Collection soon they will be lost forever.

Funny this question came up cos i actually ordered an original Sega Genesis 2 from Ebay for my son. I want him to experience what i did when i was younger.

A bit bias as I have only had playstations, but they are very good. Kids love the Wii, as the games are easy and simple to play.

MS Paint is for noobs, after you get a 4090 you fire up Heaven then 3DMark and finally Cinebench. Post those scores online to show off your lean mean gaming machine.
Then you fire up Microsoft Solitaire Collection, gotta complete the daily challenges.
