which gps

It seems that the C510 comes with a better package and a battery that seems to last longer (up to 8 hrs vs up to 5 hrs). The C510 comes bundled with Southern African Street Maps. The C510 has a higher sugested retail price (R4800) than the Nuvi 200 (R3500) so I would go for the C510 :)

I have never used a GPS, so maybe check out these links.

I played with the C510 for a while and I wasn't that impressed with the speed it recalculated routes once you strayed off the designated route.
It also didn't pick up that I was on a different road when I turned off one road and then onto a road running parallel to the first. It thought I was still on the original road.
I haven't played with the cheaper Nuvi but the more expensive Nuvis are awesome.
Also look at the Tom Toms. I don't know if the cheaper one is available here yet but when I played with it, it was pretty good.
