Just bought some Silver Rapids for both my Glocks. Gonna see how they work.I’ve been using Bullet corp’s coated bullets for a while now without issues. Around 30% cheaper

They’ll work great. Mate of mine used those in his Glock without issue. Personally I prefer the finish on the Bullet Corps but either work well.Just bought some Silver Rapids for both my Glocks. Gonna see how they work.
Not sure where you are but in kzn. Nothing under R400 if you can find it.Bought packet of ammo this morning...thats gone up R20 in the last 5 or 6 weeks since I bought some...
R320 for S&B 114gr
Amazed it didnt go up sooner...
Up in the Great Cowteng...Not sure where you are but in kzn. Nothing under R400 if you can find it.
I bought stv 124grn these are probably my favorite ones of them all for R415.
1 year ago I paid R315 for the 115gr S&Bs
I'm guessing post-riot, ammo in Kzn is still in high demand.Up in the Great Cowteng...
I actually thought ammo was a pretty uniform price all over...?
To be honest with you, torso hits would be most reliable.. Big area to hit, less bone, more chance of not missing.. But well down this is good shooting, what FA and Ammo?15 meters to target, like everyone says, practice is needed
That's a negative.. Prices here are upside.. Same with Firearms in general.. I paid 2k more here than I would have in Jhb.. 2 weeks ago.Up in the Great Cowteng...

Thanks but the problem is when you shoot competition and a plate is sitting at 25meters:To be honest with you, torso hits would be most reliable.. Big area to hit, less bone, more chance of not missing.. But well down this is good shooting, what FA and Ammo?

LoL came back to check my facts, thought I had written 25 meters. Kan mos nie hier kom kak praat nie. 25 meter is kak ver vir n hand wapen vir baie mense.15 meters to target, like everyone says, practice is needed
Reloads maybe?![]()
Cops round up farmer and 97 illegal miners on Gauteng farm; seize 570 rounds of ammunition
Following an Intelligence driven operation, a team consisting of various specialized units in the SAPS swooped in on a farm where the illegal miners had been operating from.www.iol.co.za
"Police seized 570 rounds of ammunition which will be sent for ballistic testing to determine if they had been used in previous crimes."
Ok then...
This my biggest issue. My shooting is decent but not fast enough, mainly because of the trigger reset and allowing the full trigger reset.. . On glocks it's more noticeable I think, than others....One thing that has made my handgun shooting better was the trigger reset action.
So instead of letting the trigger go back all the way, just let it go until it clicks then stop it from going back all the way to the front.
My problem when the Neuralyzer beeps, one tend to forget this![]()
Surely it cant be done on the bullet nor the primer, that leaves us with the casing that went through a tumbler to be cleaned.Reloads maybe?
The address doesn't appear on your card. Just update your DFO when you do move/collect your card.I have a question about changes of address. I'm going to be moving apartment while my fa licence application is still in process.
I know I'll need to get a safe installed at my new apartment.
Should I visit my local DFO with more safe photos and proof of address, to register my new address ... and is that new address likely to appear on my new fa licence card when it's finally issued (or will my old address still be on it)?
Thanks Ranz! I love the practical insights here ... I'm learning everything from absolute scratch, and it's one heck of a journeyThe address doesn't appear on your card. Just update your DFO when you do move/collect your card.
