Which handgun do you recommend for EDC?

"The manager loaded the magazine of the AR15 rifle, as I was standing approximately 3m to the left of my son-in-law. The bullet hit the steel frame and the copper jacket covering the bullet hit me on my stomach and penetrated 27mm deep"

Not sure if the instructor was loading the magazine, or if the instructor was loading the magazine(in to the firearm).

I guess it was loaded into the gun and his son-in-law fired the AR ?

But..... hitting the frame instead of the target on 6-8m ... LMAO

With the repo rate that climed and us going to stage 6 loadshedding, I have finally thought of looking in to getting a flashlight for my P07.

I mention the repo rate as not everyone has the funds to buy expensive toys.

The price on this is usually R1699 and is now R1199.

Will update what I think of it. I have been eyeing it for months now.

I have this problem where sometimes the gas bottle has to be closed in the evening. P07 in one hand light in the other is not working for me.

Let me see if this works. Might save others a few zar as well.

The problem with your proposed solution is that you will be sweeping / pointing anything/anyone you wish to shine a light on. Not great from a safety perspective.

100%

Dont buy
I use a rechargeable headlight, keeps both hands free and it gives a nice beam of light.

Got it from China mall was about R350 and I bought some spare 18650's for it that I swap around every now and then. Easily lasts for a few hours when fully charged.

I have the trustfire 11r...had it around a year... Works well with a good beam and it lives in my pocket. No issues. I havent got a WML as its more money and another holster or two etc..also keep a cheap energiser headlamp in the car and one in my bedroom.

Also have the 11r. Really great piece of equipment. USB c charging is a win too.

799 from torchsa during the bday sale last year

Oh also the USB port is directly on the casing so can charge directly without having to remove the battery or using fancy charger adapters. Makes charging on the go or an emergency much easier.

I see Olight SA are closing down. Wouldn't be a bad time to grab a light for anybody that has been looking for one.

Hmm. sort of serves them right.

TorchSA imported and distributed olight very successfully for many years. Then olight bullied him into 'partnering' with them, and the shortly after that booted him out and doubled their prices, and tripled the delivery times, and quartered the customer service levels.

Ja I never understood their M-O. Inflated prices with huge specials. Even then still kak expensive. I was under the impression they were making a killing.

I got one of their Swivel lights. Brilliant piece of kit. Got it from a guy who knows a guy or something like that for a very good price.
