Hi all. I have recently had an electrician wire my house so that my lights (all led), router, cameras and dvr will work when connected to an inverter via the db board.

I have a 105Ah deep cycle battery. Which inverter would you recommend? I don’t need massive power. I had a 720W Ellies trolley. But it’s old and gave up he ghost.

I need something that won’t break the bank but that is reliable and easily accessible ( I live in Bloem and inverters are scare!).

Thanks in advance.

Wait until December for blackouts to stop, stock and prices to recover. Battery is probably poked now too so LFP (hubble s-120) should be available again by then. The ecco 12V inverter is PSW, and has solar input.

1st get rid of deep cycle battery, they might be cheap to start but expensive to keep.

Deep cycle cost R2-R3K for 12V and only last 250-300 cycles
LiFePO4 cost about R6-R7k FOR 12v and last 2000-3000 cycles

Then depending on your load you might wanna look for a cheap Mecer 1200VA with MPPT or better yet go for a 3 Kva Axpert or such (24V) depending on your needs. Can laqter look ad hooking up solar panels when the need arise.

Going 24V just doubles the cost. Also, Mecer is not PSW.
