i am looking to get my 7 yr old daughter a tablet

i can get a samsung tab 7" the P1000 basically brand new

can that tablet play the modern games in the play store like wheres my water etc or is it better to buy the newer cheaper tablets on the market running ics.

i am very nervous to buy a cheap tablet.

If you can afford the Samsung, go for it. Remember that many of the font Kong tablets will not support some or all of the android play store.

Also they won't come with a guarantee.

On the flip side, what are the chances of your kid breaking a far more expensive samsung tablet?

They do indeed. Brilliant screen. Only downside is no 3g. Mine arrived from Kalahari on Friday. Played a bit but not much. It will undoubtedly support everything from the store.
