My phoneline and ADSL@512kbps was enabled around lunch time today, and my Billion 7300N router will be delivered tomorrow morning. I need some suggestions for ISP and packages please.

I will be using my connection for gaming, http browswing and download, maybe P2P too (if I can't get the content off http).

I saw the R130 30g local (openweb)+ R469 256kbps unshaped uncapped Intl VPN is quite a good deal, but both of them are contract basis, I will be away for holiday for a month in December and no one will use the ADSL. Should I just get some other month to month or prepaid bandwidth at the mean time and only go for the option I proposed or your suggestion (assumed contract basis) in Jan 2009?

Which month to month/Prepaid ISP and package is easy to use, fast activation and reliable? Thanks.:p

Web Africa

Web Africa has a 24 hour support line, not only telephonic, but via email and IM.

Web Africa has many suitable services on offer, one of which would be an unshaped prepaid service.
It is not contract based but month to month. So no monthly subscription costs.

It is R125 per Gb (no monthly subscription costs)

The best benefit to this service is that the bandwidth rolls over month to month and will not expire until completely consumed...

I hope this will assist in your decision.:)
