Which ISP?

WA battle to sort out Telkom problems though in my experience and while the telephonic support is not bad you will not be able to get hold of anyone senior to listen to your problem and help. They also don't tell existing customers about new packages that would be more cost effective for them.. That you need to keep an eye on yourself.

Shouldn't be the case, unless there is a congested/ over-utilised DSLAM in your area. Telkom usually take a while to have these sorted out as their upgrades are run via a planned update. Seniors/ Management should always be available for on-going or queries that need to be escalated too.

When we release a new product, we usually do make a lot of noise about it. From articles online to mailers to all existing customers.

Don't get me wrong I am still a WA user - just a very frustrated one. I have had a Telkom fault (underground earthing) for years now and it still does not get resolved. I have had plenty calls opened, after 24 hours I get an sms saying its closed I log the call again and so the cycle goes on and on. (see my first post here in 2009) and I had the problem for some time before talking about it here.

When trying to get hold of management at WA I am always told they are in a meeting and they get a call center supervisor to phone me back.. still I wait for resolution.

Again WA is a decent ISP - they just don't seem to have any power with Telkom or management that likes talking to clients.
