Pros and Cons?
I love it, it's amazing for baking, which I've done less of the last few months but every time I do, I'm reminded of how awesome it is.
The only con I can think of is that it's not small, it takes up quite a bit of space on the counter

Does it run with batteries?
It's a stationary kitchen appliance. It doesn't run anywhere.
I don't know if it runs with batteries, I've never bothered to try find out

And don’t fall for the 5-in-1 stuff, it means it does at least 5 things at a mediocre level.
If you want a stand mixer buy a stand mixer. If you want a blender but a blender. Don’t expect either one to do the other ones job without compromises.

Would 100% recommend
I like the mixer but the dough hook is truly awful, so I went for an aftermarket upgrade. It wasn't cheap but it was worth it.
