which life insurer to use

Hi there, i am so confused as to which life insurer to use. We have about 3 life insurance policies at 3 different place. One through the company i work for. One at myway... impulse life insurance buying of about 400 rand a month and get out R800,000. Im not sure if that is good or not. Advise please
 
If you're on discovery or fnb you can get discounts /ebuck on life insurance. And some providers pay back some of your premiums at intervals
 
have a life insurance policy with sanlam. I'm happy with it but yo ve honest I haven't shopped around.

also have life policy with work but have no idea how that works. it is compulsory.
 
First of all decide what you need it for and how much you need. Then phone the reputable companies and see who has the best rate.
If you have no debt and no dependents then rather put that money into an investment.

Are you allowed to have more than one?

Nope.

Unless the law changed you can have more than 1.


What needs to be remembered....
You pay RX to get RZ benefit.
The RX is on a sliding scale.
The higher up the scale you pay, the higher the benefit.

So it would be cheaper to have 2 policies paying R5mil each than to have 10 policies each paying out 1mil.
