I need to buy a mattrass for my 2 and a bit year old son as we bought him a big bed. I need to buy a three quarter mattrass but not sure which brand or type of mattrass.

Going to the shop I feel like the assistants there are mostly pushing you into a direction without being able to really tell you why.

I know there was a lenghty bed brand thread on here but I cant seem to find it and cant remember who the resident bed expert was thats a member on the forum.

a foam mattress.
maybe not the cheapest, but something not to expensive, that way its ok if you need to replace it in a year.

the really cheap mattresses sag very easily in the middle and won't be good for the little one.

then when the little person is 5-6 you can buy a decent spring mattress.

I would prefer to buy once for the next 10 years.

My boys have hypoallergenic 100% latex mattresses. Pricey but worth it.
Sealy + Cloud nine are good brands that last 20+years.
