My folks are bringing back a hero 4 silver from the States for me and I'm looking around for a memory card for it. I've seen the recommended list on the go pro site lists a lexar 633x micro sdhc card, but I've seen a lexar 300x on special at takealot that's 40% off.
I know the go pro website will recommend the faster one in order to record in 4k with all the new features, but if I mainly record in 1080p or occasionally in 1440p will the slower card be fine? The 300x one is pretty much half the price of the 633x so I want to buy two while the special is still on.
