Hi all - finally getting dsl and I need to decide on a modem+ethernet/wireless router to connect two xp computers and one osx (possibly a os9 as well, although not critical)

I was wondering what people recomend for this sort of thing (surelly there should be a FAQ sticky on this) - someone recomended this, although I was just wondering what else there is out there.

Thanks all :)

By the way if you are on MWeb you can get the modem for about R100 cheaper..

If you want Ethernet instead of wireless the Billion 1502 (4 port router + modem) is also very popular. Costs about R550.

You mean the 5102 and not 1502 and I sell for R474.00

rather than start a new thread let me just ask here ...

I have changed my mind - rather wire everything, what modem should I use which suppors bridging for more than 3 users and has at least 4 ethernet ports. Oh - and I need to use smoothwall with it.

Thanks :)
