Seeing as it's an old PC, I'd go for the most basic motherboard. You are lucky that those motherboards are still available.

lol, SATA ports not working i dont know how but they came loose 2 of them, cracked, possibly when I moved

What is the plan ? Use the old CPU and RAM ?

Its probably better to just replace everything with new tech. I don't think its worth your while to fiddle with this old MB.

Nasty. Swapping motherboards will just be fine with the exisiting CPU. Make sure to order some thermal paste too. I think you might need the motherboard with 4 RAM slots thats R2000? The one I linked only has 2. A Ryzen 5 5500 upgrade is about R5.5k to 6k with CPU, Mobo + 16 gb RAM.
