which mouse?

So I splashed out and got the Razor Mamba, then tried the firmware update and now I have a very expensive paper weight!

yup bricked, memory wiped clean as a whistle. Seems I am not alone so working on a possible recovery.

I have yet to find a mouse which fits my hand perfectly.
Why don't they just make them b00b shaped?

Ouch! Take it back and play dumb? I am sure they will swop it.

Else I am sure there is a fix out there.

Every time there's a reply in this thread, it makes me want to upgrade my desktop set. :)

I just spent some more time looking at Logitech mouse and keyboard offerings. Thought maybe there'd be something to replace my dinovo bluetooth laser set. Not a chance. :( They got nothing. Wouldn't mind the performance mx mouse, but then it's another wireless adapter to add. Why can't they just offer the MX1100 with BT?

Wish Razer would make a big mouse with BT.

Well, here's to another good 6 years or more for my dinovo keyboard and MX1000 combo.

My G500 is ready for pickup...so hopefully tomorrow night I'll be cruising:D

Loving my Logitech MX1100R, verrrrrrry comfy and very responsive.

The MX1000 is now sitting in the corner weeping :)

Looks like an updated MX revolutions mouse which I used to have. I loved the shape (most comfortable mouse that I have ever owned) but the charging and mouse' sensor had too many issues with it unfortunately.

That MX1100R would be sweet compared to the MX1100 just for the recharging part. Beautiful mouse that and looks comfy.

I'm pretty keen on that one, but I'm so not keen on having another wireless adapter stuck in the PC. :P Why do they have the Revolution in BT and the rest not. :P

If I could only log into the support forums I could start a begging session. :)

nihilist, what wireless usb adapter came with that thing? The long one or was it one of those unifying ones?

Yeah I had some issues with my MX1000, but I found moving the cradle really helped improving the signal, I just put it very close, I also had odd times where even my coffee cup would interfere, but again - just positioning the cradle helped and then I had no real problem.

What I love about the MX1100 is that it takes a single AA battery, I haven't chartged it since I got it (last week) yet and is still going strong. A friend of mine has 2 MX1100's, one at home and the other at work, he says he gets about over a month of life with a single battery.

The MX1100R has a USB cable so you can charge the battery and use the mouse at the same time, if you have a nimh AA battery. Though I just keep a spare here incase ;)
