Which Netgear is the Telkom one...

Got a client with a Netgear DG834 or similar router that they got from Telkom about 2 months ago. It's got 2 buttons on top, as well as an USB port.

Can't remember the model number, and can't find it on Netgear's site. Only know it looks like any normal DG834G modem...

Want to update the firmware, as I have problems connecting a Asus K50IN laptop to it, whereas the Notebook connects fine to my DG834GT at the office, and other notebooks connect fine to the client's network. Just between those 2 devices, I have problems.

Just to update this thread.

The links in the other post is dead - so couldn't do much on the modem side. I see the modem has a feature where it updates the firmware from Telkom automatically - so no need to do it yourself.

Anyway, the problem was on the laptop side. Updated the Atheros AR9285 driver to the latest version (7.7.0.329), and it was sorted! Version that didn't work was 7.7.0.220 IIRC. Also, got it from a 3rd party website, as the Asus Support site doesn't even list the Atheros under the drivers - only Azureware or something!
